GNSS Control Surveys Workshop

16 & 17 April 2016, USQ Sringfield Campus

After a superb feedback from a fantastically successful event in Toowoomba, the QSSA, in conjunction with USQ, would like to announce that we will be running a GNSS Control Survey course at the USQ Springfield Campus on the 16th and 17th April.

With the help of Leica Geo Office and C.R. Kennedy the course is a bring your own device (laptop) workshop aimed primarily at those working towards registration who need additional advice with regards to the GNSS control competencies.

Attendees are required to bring their own laptop. The Leica Geo Office team will contact all registrants prior to the workshop to enable access to Leica Geo Office and ensure there are no IT issues over the event.

The objective of the workshop is to provide graduates with the information and skills to complete components of their registration that may not always be provided in all workplaces. The course will cover theory, field practice and office calculations involved in rapid static GNSS control networks.

Please note that this event is training only and does not fulfil any competency with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, a CER still need to be written.

  • QSSA / AIMS Member $395
  • Non-member $595

The course will be priced at $395 for QSSA and AIMS members and $595 for non-members. The course includes;

Please note that this event is training only and does not fulfil any competency element of the Surveyors Board of Queensland Surveyor Competency Framework. Field and office work completed as part of the course is not eligible to be included as evidence in a competency assessment.
