We are seeking your assistance to review the conference proposals. The call for conference proposals closes on 13 March 2017. The Program Committee is looking to allocate proposals for review during March 2017. The deadline for the review process is 31 March.

This year’s conference proposals review will be a double-blind review. This means that author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The review process is fully automated and anonymous. You will be provided with instructions to guide your review when using the online assessment tool. Reviewer's names will be published in the conference abstract book.

BLIND PEER REVIEW:

The AES uses double-blind review when assessing conference proposals. This means that author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.

Ensure that the proposal is prepared in a way that does not give away your identity. 

SUBMITTING:

  • READ all the Call for Proposals webpages at conference17.aes.asn.au
  • ENTER the Abstract AND Justification Statement into the Abstract field ensuring it contains no identifying information.
  • FOLLOW the guidelines for conference proposals the webpages, in particular in relation to the abstract and justification statement.  See the call for proposals and presentation format pages for further information on Abstract preparation.
  • DOWNLOAD this annoted guide (right click to save) to assist with filling in the submission form.

A note on selecting themes

All proposals must contribute to the theme "Evaluation Capital". Review the sub-themes page to indicate which sub-theme of Evaluation Capital best matchs your topic. 

Please note: The theme selection will help the program committee to organise the program. The committee reserves the right to decide on the categorisation of proposals and to vary the theme categories.

Submission deadline is 13 March 2017. No further extensions or exceptions will be granted.

  • Download the abstract template and follow the instructions on this page.
  • Complete, and save, the Word template and upload using the "Choose File" button.
