Join us at the premier event on the Australian macadamia industry calendar - AusMac2022 – at Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's beautiful Gold Coast.
The conference - the largest of its kind in the world - is hosted by the Australian Macadamia Society and connects macadamia growers and industry professionals from all regions of Australia and the globe.
Over 2½ days, internationally acclaimed growers, researchers and industry experts will share their ideas and experiences to provide you with the latest results and technical information about key macadamia research, best practice, on-farm innovation and management. The program comprises a fantastic mix of practical workshops and information sessions and a mega trade & machinery expo showcasing the latest products and services.
Topics covered will include: climate change, factors influencing total kernel recovery and your profitability, South Africa, water use management, ecophysiology, cover crop and inter row technology to improve soils and diversity, improving pollination for better yields, the technology changing our orchards and best practice orchard establishment.
There’s also plenty of social networking – including a golf day on the magnificent PGA championship course, poolside cocktail party and gala dinner celebrating the remarkable achievements of our industry.
We are thrilled to have the support of Destination Gold Coast for this premier event and look forward to seeing you in November!

AusMac2022 - Royal Pines and vaccination regulations – update (12 Dec 2021)
Our AusMac2022 venue - Royal Pines - have advised us of their current position with the Queensland Government vaccination regulations. In line with government advice, from Friday, 17 December 2021 and until further notice, all staff, members and guests aged 16+ must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption to visit or stay at RACV Resort properties in Queensland. AusMac delegates will need to be ready to show evidence of their vaccination status or medical exemption when visiting Royal Pines. Of course, this situation may change over the coming weeks, and we will be keeping everyone up to date. If you have any questions, please call the AMS on 1800 262 426.
AusMac Event highlights
Our last event attracted more than 400 delegates from all over Australia and the world to gather together at the AusMac2018 event on the Gold Coast. This allowed our delegates to be inspired about the future, grow their knowledge and celebrate the achievements of our great industry. They hailed from all levels of the supply chain including growers, processors, marketers, consultants, researchers, investors and trade representatives.
Although it has been some time, a lot of growth has taken place since the last event so we encourage everyone to register their attendance at the 2022 conference. The program has been carefully designed to once again, provide great benefits for the future, to all sectors of the supply chain.
