TERMS CONDITIONS AND CANCELATION POLICY
Cancellation of Registration
Should you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 October 2021. Cancellations received in writing before this date will be eligible for a refund of your registration fee minus an administration fee of NZ$150+GST. Please note that refunds may not be able to be processed until after the conference is held. Cancellations received after 1 October 2021, or failure to attend the event, are not eligible for refund.
Alzheimers New Zealand and Verve reserve the right to cancel registrations at their discretion, including those that do not appear to be genuine.
Transfer of Registration
If you have booked but can no longer attend, your registration may be transferred to another person. There is a fee of $30+gst to transfer your registration.
Cancellation of Accommodation
Hotel bookings must be cancelled directly with the hotel and are subject to the hotels accommodation cancellation terms advised at the time of booking.
While there are no restrictions on gatherings under Alert Level 1, we are following the Voluntary Code for event professionals. More details on this code are available here. Alzheimers New Zealand and the event managers will take all steps recommended by the New Zealand Government.
By registering for the Conference you agree that the information provided in your registration can be supplied to health authorities to be used for COVID-19 contact tracing if necessary.
You should not attend the Conference if you are unwell, have any COVID-19 symptoms or if you need to be in isolation for any reason. Please refer to the COVID-19 website for details about the current alert level.
COVID Level Changes
Should the New Zealand government change the Covid alert levels restricting event attendance there are options to deliver the Conference:
• If any venue is in a region at alert level 2 the venue affected will be designed to accommodation 100 delegates.
• If any venue is in a region at alert level 3 or above the conference will be delivered virtually t those affected.
Cancellation or Postponement of the Event
It may be necessary for Alzheimers New Zealand to alter the times, dates, itineraries or speakers of the event by notice to you at any time. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event, the maximum liability of Alzheimers New Zealand is limited to a refund of the conference registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.
Please advise us of any food allergies or dietary restriction at the time of registering. We will work with the venue to provide any dietary requirements where possible. However, Alzheimers New Zealand is unable to guarantee that all dietary preferences will be able to be catered for.
Alzheimers New Zealand shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, pandemic, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of Alzheimers New Zealand or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, Alzheimers New Zealand may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of Alzheimers New Zealand. In the event the Conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, Alzheimers New Zealand shall not be liable to attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.
Photos and videos are taken at the Conference and used for Alzheimers New Zealand and our event partners publicity purposes. By registering to attend you agree to be in any photos taken for Alzheimers New Zealand and our event partners at the event and used for publicity purposes. If you do not want to be identified in these photos, please advise us before the event.
These terms and conditions relate to virtual registrations.
Single ticket registration to the online event is for the registered individual only. If you have purchased a virtual individual registration, you agree not to share your access code or have others watching the live broadcast or any recorded versions.
For groups, please use the group registration.
Tickets for the online event are non-refundable.
Alzheimers NZ and the event managers cannot be held responsible for any access, IT, internet of Wi-Fi issues the delegate may experience before, during or after the live broadcast.

Business Trading Name
Verve Consulting Ltd, trading as Verve are event managers to Alzheimers New Zealand. The name that will appear on your credit card statement is Verve - the Event Agency. Verve - the Event Agency is a New Zealand owned business and all transactions will be billed in New Zealand dollars.
