This year we're back at the Angliss Conference Centre, where you will be treated with a seated lunch in the Angliss Training Restaurant.
Keynote speaker: Tess Hutchinson is a food studies teacher who spent five years working as a home economist at MasterChef Australia. Hear about the challenges of sourcing ingredients, working in a highly charged environment with crazy deadlines, recipe development without a recipe and what celebrity chefs are really like!
Sessions include: Food ordering - the bigger picture, Cultural diversity and cooking, Food styling and photography, Utilising excess food, Learning difficulties and EAL in the kitchen, A social media account for food studies; and Speciality ingredient sourcing.
