The Cars of Tomorrow 2015

Thursday, 12 March 2015 from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Crown Promenade Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia

THE CARS OF TOMORROW CONFERENCE 2015: The Car in our Future Mobility

In 2015 the 18th Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference, APAC (10 & 11 March) will be aligned with the Cars of Tomorrow Conference (12 March) bringing together delegates from Australia and overseas - particularly Asia, from research organisations, OEMs and manufacturers, government departments and other automotive-related organisations and bodies.

For the fourth year running, The Cars of Tomorrow conference will bring together automotive industry experts and stakeholders to explore the current and most pressing themes for the industry, both locally and overseas. Although naturally viewing issues from an Australian perspective, the industry is determinedly global and so have been the presentations, panels, discussions, ideas and delegates at each event.

Conference feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with particular enthusiasm for the speakers who give us expert food for thought on the topics that matter. We are pleased to say that the next conference is no exception on the speaker quality front.

As we power towards new and exciting energy options, autonomous and connected vehicles, multi-modal transport ... as many questions are being raised as are being answered about what the future of automotive and mobility will look like and this theme will be comprehensively explored during the 2015 event.

The Cars of Tomorrow 2015: The Car in our Future Mobility speaker line-up includes an exciting keynote presentation by an expert on thinking about our future mobility, Phil Gott, Senior Director for Long Range Planning at IHS Automotive.

Also returning to the conference, as a follow up to his great presentation in 2011 is Tali Trigg from the International Energy Agency. As he did last time, Tali will inspire and challenge us by providing insights into current thinking on Future Fuels & Powertrain Technology.

AutoCRC Ltd, Future Climate Australia and the Society of Automotive Engineers Australasia are looking forward to you joining us at this unique and important industry event that forms a key element of the Australian Automotive Week 2015 programme, so why not attend the full program over 3 days; APAC18 and The Cars of Tomorrow Conference.
