About Royal Life Saving Society WA

Preventing drowning is the foundation of the Royal Life Saving Society. In 2016 in Western Australia, 38 people drowned and 112 were hospitalised following a non-fatal drowning incident; however, statistics can never truly describe the tragic impact that drowning has on families and friends and even one person drowning is still too many.

The mission of the Royal Life Saving Society is to empower the community to be safe when they are in, on, or around water, and to lead efforts to reduce the impact of drowning.
