On behalf of the Epilepsy Society of Australia, we have great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 35th Annual Scientific Meeting in Hobart, 2nd – 4th November 2021.

The major themes at the meeting will be epilepsy co-morbidities, epilepsy genomics in the post-Mendelian era, and psychogenic non-epileptic seizures. We are also pleased to host a session dedicated to young researchers in epilepsy presenting their work.
While international travel prevents visiting guests from overseas, we are fortunate enough to still hear from our local experts, many of whom have international profiles.
The meeting will provide a great opportunity for networking and exchange of information – we anticipate attracting about 250 delegates from around Australia, including trainees, practising neurologists, technologists, scientists, nurses and allied health professionals. For those unable to travel, there will also be the option of virtual attendance online, but we otherwise look forward to catching up in person with as many of our colleagues as we can at the meeting.

The 2021 meeting will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart in the centre of Hobart, with easy access to the waterfront and Salamanca Place area. The meeting dinner will be held at a nearby winery on the outskirts of Hobart.

We look forward to having you join us in Hobart in November.
