Cancellation of the face-to-face 2021 ASM & Announcement of Virtual Meeting


The current COVID-19 outbreaks have led the ESA and the organising committee to convert this year’s Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled for 2nd to 4th November 2021, to a fully virtual event.
We recognise this will be disappointing, but travel restrictions make this not practical for most, and the health and safety of meeting attendees is our highest priority.

On behalf of ESA and the organisers, we thank you for your understanding, and look forward to you participating in our virtual ESA meeting program, with a wide range of clinical and scientific presentations of interest. 

Note that those who have registered for attendance on site will be refunded to the level of virtual attendees, and accommodation payments will also be returned.

Online Registration Information

All prices are in Australian dollars and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Please review below registration types before proceeding with your registration.

When you register, you will receive a confirmation of your registration straight away via email including a link to tax invoice/receipt. Please also check your junk mail folder.

If you do not receive this confirmation please email the meeting organisers. 

 

Access details to virtual content will be granted depending on registration category.

The Meeting Handbook and Abstracts will be sent in electronic format.


Payment of registration fees
All payments must be in Australian dollars. Payment may be made by:

Credit card – all major cards accepted 
(Note that payments will appear as IVVY PTY LTD on your credit card statement.)

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) – banking details will be advised on your tax invoice. 


Cancellations and refund policy
Cancellation of registration must be emailed to the Meeting Organisers.

Fees paid will be refunded as follows:
Cancellation on or before Monday, 4th October 2021 - full payment less administration fee of $110 incl GST. 
Cancellation on and after Tuesday, 5tht October 2021 - no refund.

 

Eligible refunds will be issued after the conclusion of the Meeting. 


Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the Meeting, provided the Meeting Organiser is advised in writing.
