Fit 4 Piano, Avoiding Injury | Essential Technology Tools with Rae de Lisle & Melody Deng

Part 1: Rae will outline common causes of playing–related pain and will discuss practical ways to develop an injury-preventative piano technique.

Her book Fit 4 Piano provides teachers with a beautifully illustrated resource for establishing and maintaining a coordinated technique.

Part 2: Melody explains how incorporating technology into the everyday lesson can help to motivate, engage and improve aspects of music learning that are traditionally dreaded and ignored by students and teachers. This session shows how using technology can make the learning and practicing of these skills fun and self-motivating for students.
