The Box Hill Town Hall is the City of Whitehorse's most prestigious venue. It is a popular venue for formal events where the elegant interiors and stately ambience will make any event a memorable experience.

It was designed in the neo-classical style by architects JS Gawler and JCA Isbett, and was built between 1934 and 1935. The imposing facade is known the world over as the external setting for the court house in the television series Neighbours and TV series Winners and Losers, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Better Man have featured this location.

There are two dates engraved on the town hall’s portico – 1927, the year Box Hill was proclaimed a city, and 1994, the year of amalgamation. The crest of the former City of Box Hill is also featured on the portico.
