What if by leveraging tools you already have access to in your school you could improve productivity, provide easier ways for your teams to collaborate efficiently and provide access to essential information for your staff 24-7? What if you could move what’s on your G drive to the cloud to enable your staff to contribute to or access key curriculum and planning documents seamlessly from home and school? What if you could make your staff induction package a dynamic digital resource that can be easily updated? What if you could easily see the contributions being made by different team members or the work and assessment tasks being completed by students in real time? What if you had the capacity to easily capture student work for assessment and provide students with powerful multimodal feedback? 

All of these things are now possible and many schools are already making what was described above a reality with the use of OneDrive, Office 365 and Class and Staff Notebooks. These are all tools now available for use in every EQ school.  To support school leadership teams who are wanting to begin the transition to using these tools in their own context, the Contemporary Learning Hub is offering two day practicum programs designed to support school based leaders to develop their knowledge of what’s possible and the skills they need to leverage them effectively in their own context.  Practicum participants will have opportunities to see the tools in action in a real school context and will be supported by our team as they begin creating and editing their own cloud based documents and class and staff notebooks. 
 

Cost

The cost of the program is $340 ex GST.   This cost covers the two day program, morning tea and lunch and the provision of a staff notebook jam packed full of materials that you can share with your staff to support them to develop their skills in the use of the platforms.

 

Cancellation Policy

Schools / work locations are able to send another staff member in the place of a registered participant.   Please advise us if there is a change.   Cancellations for this event will incur a 50% cancellation fee if within two weeks of the workshop.   A 75% cancellation fee is applicable if the cancellation is within 48 hours of the event.     Cancellations need to be made via our Coordinator Kristine on 0422 042 309.
