Men's mental health is a vital area to address due to the prevalence of a range of mental health issues (including anxiety, depression, substance-use issues and PTSD) and high rates of suicide in men.  In addition, men often delay or avoid seeking assistance due to social factors including the stigma of mental illness.

This workshop aims to increase knowledge and skill in relation to assessing and managing men's mental health issues, barriers to care, current treatment approaches (including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and relevant community supports and resources will be addressed.
