"First off, a sincere thanks to all speakers, sponsors, delegates, organisers and support staff for making the inaugural Northern Australia Food Futures Conference an outstanding success."

Grant Fenton - CEO NT Farmers

Northern Australia Food Futures is a conference aimed at generating focused discussion on northern agriculture development policies. In helping to create framework for long term success Northern Australia Food Futures 2014 focuses on the markets and economics underpinning emerging Asian markets.

Discussions will be held on topics and ideas for issues seen throughout the supply chain, including technical and economic based research and development, environmental impacts and management, policies and food security. Evidence for successful models of agricultural development in Northern Australia is overwhelming seen throughout the regions, such as the $280 million a year production value of successfully irrigated agriculture. This figure is just shy of the live cattle trade which bring in around $350-400 million a year.

Broader sessions will be complimented with interactive single commodity sessions, allowing for individuals to zero in on their specialty.
