Amy has worked in the aquatic industry for over six years working as an instructor, presenter and assessor. Amy has completed a Bachelor of Education majoring in special Education and has been working in special education primary schools. She works diligently within the schools to coordinate their swimming and water safety programs.

Position: National Compliance Manager

Ben has been involved in the aquatic industry for the past 17 years and currently the National Compliance Manager for Royal Life Saving Society.
Ben’s aquatic experiences include an AUSTSWIM presenter, pool lifeguard and first aid trainer, swim instructor, swim coach, swim school manager, and centre manager.

Diane is one of only two executive directors at Changing Change International. She has had over 25 years' experience in the aquatic industry and now predominately works as a consultant to businesses, including swim schools, changing the way change happens through culture, systems and people. Diane has an MBA in Human Resources and Marketing where she now specialises in everything to do with change.

Diane has been an AUSTSWIM Teacher for over 25 years as well as a presenter of 'everything AUSTSWIM'. In addition to this, Diane facilitates customised training for swim schools on business development, leadership, team and client communications as well as marketing, ensuring every client’s experience with you exceeds their expectations, something every swim school should be aiming for.

Katherine began her swimming and water safety career in 2007 when she completed her AUSTSWIM Teacher if Swimming and Water Safety course while still at school. Since completing her schooling Katherine found a passion for Learn to Swim, expanding her career and introducing new programs for special needs and adults to the Dubbo Community. She was promoted to Learn to Swim Coordinator at the Dubbo RSL Health Club in 2010. Katherine's experience and commitment to the aquatic industry is evident with her receiving a High Commendation for Teacher of Aquatics to People with a Disability in 2012 and Winning the AUSTSWIM NSW State Award for Teacher of Adults in 2013. Katherine is training to become an AUSTSWIM Presenter and aims to develop new programs to increase access for all to learn to swim and survive.

Katrina Scarpin’s passion for the aquatic industry started in 1997. Katrina’s expertise in swimming and water safety has come from continuous learning. She has owned two swim centres and later after the birth of her four children managed two swim centres. Katrina is qualified in Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, Infant & Preschool, Access & Inclusion and Competitive Strokes and also presents the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Course. Katrina currently works as a Primary school teacher across years 2, 3 and 4. She is extremely passionate about swimming and water safety and the importance of providing exceptional teacher training and delivering the highest quality of professional development.

Position: Senior Sexual Assault Counsellor

Kay is a Social Worker who has worked in Child Protection as a Specialist Child and Adolescent Sexual Assault Counsellor at Linden Place for twenty years. Prior to this Kay worked as a Sexuality Educator in schools, in the Department of Corrective Services into prisons as a counsellor and in a residential unit for adolescent girls at risk of harm.

Lynn is an Art Therapist who has been working at Linden Place Child and Adolescent Sexual Assault Counselling Service for the past year while she is completing tertiary studies.

Melissa has been involved in the aquatic industry for the past 22 years. Melissa is currently a Teacher Sport and Recreation with TAFE NSW & Manager Melissa’s Swim School.

Melissa’s aquatic experiences include AUSTSWIM presenter, swim school Manager & Teacher of Swimming.

Robyn is dedicated to educating parents and children on safe behaviour in and around aquatic environments. She has developed several resources aimed at infant and pre-schoolers, teachers and parents. Robyn has a real passion for swimming and water safety, this is particularly evident when teaching water familiarisation with her infant and preschool classes.

Recently awarded the 2016 recipient of the AUSTSWIM National Aqua Instructor of the Year, Stacey brings with her over 15 years’ experience in the Fitness Industry, with experience in freestyle group exercise, personal training and aqua instruction.

Over the past 8 years, Stacey has been steadily growing her community fitness business, Freedom Health and Wellness, located just outside of Hobart. Two years ago, after just having her first baby, Stacey and her husband purchased an old warehouse and have created a thriving fitness centre, motivating and inspiring community members of all ages and mentoring a number of members who are now part of the Freedom crew of trainers.

While balancing the growing business, mentoring trainers and being a mum and a wife, Stacey has been working on completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in her spare time with the end goal of becoming an Exercise Physiologist in the not too distant future!

Stacey is an energetic and popular fitness professional, with a genuinely caring nature and infectious love of the fitness industry. She has been presenting both nationally and internationally at aquatic and fitness conferences over the last 10 years.
