Annual Scientific Meeting 2022

Kia ora koutou

We are looking forward to welcoming you all to the NZSSD Annual Scientific Meeting this year on 13-14 May. We have made the decision to hold our meeting as a HYBRID option this year. This allows all members to either come in person or join online. All sessions will be available online for a couple of months after the conference, even if you can't be there in person or virtually you should still consider registering virtually to access the sessions later on.

Special Interest Group Days are being held virtually this year.

You will still experience a stimulating and collegial meeting regardless of your registration type.

We have again received a good number of high calibre submissions these will all be part of the Hybrid ASM whether they are oral or poster presentations. Acceptance of submissions will be circulated shortly.

We invite you to submit nominations for the Bob Smith Lecture, for colleagues who have made a significant contribution to diabetes in Aotearoa. Nominations

We have two confirmed research awards this year. Applications are due 16 April. Awards

We look forward to seeing you all either online or in person in May.

Nga mihi

Dr Rosemary Hall
