No handbook is being printed this year. Please ensure you download the PDFs (from the links once added) to your device to use during the meeting or print a hard copy for yourself.



GENERAL INFORMATION

Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, sits near the North Island’s southernmost point on the Cook Strait. A compact city, it encompasses a waterfront promenade, sandy beaches, a working harbour and colourful timber houses on surrounding hills. From Lambton Quay, the iconic red Wellington Cable Car heads to the Wellington Botanic Gardens. Strong winds through the Cook Strait give it the nickname "Windy Wellington."

BAGS/PENS/PADS
Bags, pens and pads are not provided, please ensure you bring your own bag. The abstract handbook will be sent as a PDF prior to the conference, delegates may print this off and bring it with them or download it and view it on their device at the conference. 

CAR PARKING
Paid car parking is available within the area, using public transport is recommended.

COAT / LUGGAGE STORAGE
Storage for coats and luggage is available with in the exhibitor space.

COVID 19 HYGIENE / HEALTH & SAFETY
Please ensure you scan in on the Covid QR codes and your bluetooth is turned on. All delegates are requested to maintain the highest levels of hygiene during the conference. The committee encourages you to sanitise, wash and dry your hands often, especially before the catering breaks. Masks are not required however we strongly suggest having one with you just in case.
If at any time you feel unwell, please isolate yourself from others and inform the conference organisers immediately on 027 474 9887.

MESSAGES
Any messages received for delegates will be left on the noticeboard located near the registration desk. Please check for messages, as no announcements will be made.

MOBILE PHONES/DEVICES/LAPTOPS
The organising committee respectfully requests that you turn your mobile phone, pagers, PDAs off (or on vibrate or silent) as a courtesy to the speakers and other delegates attending the sessions. If you forget to turn off your phone and it rings please do not answer it in the session - please take your call outside.

NAME BADGES
For security reasons, all delegates, speakers and visitors must wear their conference name badge at all times during the conference. Access to the sessions, morning, afternoon teas and the Industry function will not be permitted without a name badge. 

PRESENTERS / SPEAKERS
Please bring your presentation with you on external USB drives you will be directed to the AV team and a the technician will upload your file to the system. 

REFRESHMENTS
Morning, afternoon teas & lunch are included in your registration fee and will be served in the exhibition area as per the programme. 

REGISTRATION & INFORMATION DESK
The registration desk located in the exhibition zone and will open during the following times: Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to collect your delegate name badge and handbook.

  • Saturday 14 May 08.00am - 5.30pm

SMOKING
SHED6 promotes a healthy environment for all staff and aspires to provide a smoke-free environment. The conference centre is smoke free. Smoking is also not permitted within 6 metres of buildings. New Zealand has a smoke free law, which does not permit smoking in any public buildings.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
If you have, during the registration process, advised the conference organisers of any special dietary requirements, these will have been forwarded to the caterers. A special meals table will be set up for the day catering. 

TRANSPORT - airport transfers.
Wellington Airport is a 20-minute drive from the CBD. There are many options for transport to and from the airport and around Wellington. We recommend booking your transfer in advance of arriving in Wellington.
