Play Wonder and Learn Conference 2024

Saturday, 13 July 2024 from 9:00 AM - 2:45 PM

Contemporary Learning Hub

The Contemporary Learning Hub at Meridan State College is proud to announce the return of the Play, Wonder and Learn Interactive Learning Conference for Early Years Educators. This Conference provides ideas and inspiration for making your Early Phase learning context an engaging, interactive and dynamic learning environment.  We are thrilled to announce that this year we will be welcoming Kath Murdoch back to share her expertise with us.   Kath Murdoch’s name is synonymous with Inquiry Learning - a field in she has taught, researched and written about throughout a career that spans almost forty years.  This year Kath will explore how nature can be seen as both a ‘provocation’ for inquiry and a powerful context for learning across the curriculum.  She will share with us how we can nurture a connection with nature that is so vital for choosing to live sustainably.  In addition to Kath’s keynote, we have an awesome program once again planned for delegates including sessions on literacy, digital technologies, STEM, creativity, supporting diverse learners and assistive technologies.
