Webinar: Incorporate Foundation Skills into Training

20th Aug 2019
12:30 PM - 01:30 PM
Online

ASSESSMENT ESSENTIALS

Description:

Foundation skills matter. In Australian Jobs 2017, the Commonwealth Department of Employment reported that ‘more than two thirds of employers place at least as much emphasis, if not more, on employability skills than they do on technical skills.’

This webinar clarifies sometimes confusing terminology. Foundation skills, employability skills, core skills, LLN skills – are they the same or different? An important webinar outcome is deeper understanding of how to weave foundation skills and technical skills together when you deliver a unit of competency.
