NEW: Moving Pre-accredited Programs Online

Program format: Blended delivery

This program will run over 13 weeks. Participants will choose to attend this blended learning program from one of four different locations (Wangaratta, Bendigo, Cranbourne or Geelong). Each week participants will complete either a 1-hour online webinar, 3-hour face-to-face workshop or self paced learning module. The program is designed so that participants complete ALL 13 components. When you register for a program, you are automatically registered for all components. You can enrol for a program under 'Register Here'.

Description

The Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board has funded the VET Development Centre (VDC) to develop and deliver specific professional learning for Learn Local pre-accredited teachers who are new to blended or online learning.

This program will provide participants with the theory of instructional design principles and a knowledge of technologies and tools and their uses in teaching and learning. Participants will be guided through the process of learning about the range of tools available and evaluating them against their audience and delivery needs. They will then be mentored through the design and development of a pre-accredited learning program of their choosing using those tools.

At the end of this program Learn Local participants will be ready to implement a selected pre-accredited program in a blended or online format.

Program Format

This program will run over 13 weeks (approx. 20 hours) and consist of:

  • 6 x 45-60 minute webinars
  • 3 x 3-hour face-to-face workshops
