    This workshop will focus on the following:

    • Understanding roles/requirements of mentor teachers and PCTs
    • Familiarising mentor teachers with practising teacher criteria and Educational Council guidelines for induction and mentoring
    • Developing a high quality mentoring programme
    • Using e-portfolios for collecting evidence
    • Exploring resources on Educational Council website

    This workshop will focus on:

    • Sharing celebrations, challenges and wonderings
    • Having important conversations; mentor teachers with PCT and PCT with parents/whanau

To ensure all teachers receive quality professional learning The Institute of Professional Learning reserves the right to amend or cancel session dates in response to enrolment numbers. Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing to iplworkshops@waikato.ac.nz 10 business days prior to the workshop for a full refund or waiver of payment. Cancellation requests with less than 10 business days notice or in the event of a no show will incur invoicing of the full workshop fee.
