Be a part of Rural Doctors Association of Queensland's 30th Annual Conference

The conference will be held at the Pullman Cairns International running from 6 – 8 June with one day of pre-conference workshops. It will be a unique and wide ranging forum for exchanging ideas and developing new skills. The conference will offer a variety of concurrent sessions.

The program includes the latest updates in clinical practice and topical presentations, discussion and policy forums and RDAQ’s traditional medico-political forum.

Subsidise - a - Student Program

RDAQ is committed to growing the rural health workforce of the future. RDAQ 2019 is a unique opportunity for medical students to establish networks and rural mentors. Your subsidy will reduce a student's registration costs.

RDAQ manages this program in collaboration with the four student rural health clubs in Queensland.

Each medical delegate who nominates to subsidise-a-student is invited to attend the student networking afternoon tea as a mentor. We encourage mentors to share their experience and passion for rural medicine with their nominated student.

We have revamped our subsidy program to increase networking for students and improved amenity for our participating doctor mentors. We are excited to be linking students and mentors in small groups, rather than one student with just one mentor. This will allow students to network with a greater range of professionals over the weekend, with a diversity in skills and knowledge. Additionally, the students will be able to identify a few familiar faces throughout the conference for guidance so they can gain more from their conferencing experience.

If you would like to Subsidise-a-Student, please complete the section when registering.

Your assistance in helping medical students of Queensland is appreciated.
