Considerations when Working with Men Using Family Violence

11th May 2021 - 20th Jul 2021
09:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Online via Zoom, Australia

Description

The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) has funded the VET Development Centre (VDC) to develop and deliver specific professional learning for Vocational Education and Training (VET) managers, teachers, trainers and assessors.

Direct practice with men using family violence starts from an awareness that behavioural change is possible. This training explores the key elements of gendered family violence as well as the considerations for effective engagement and referral into the men’s’ FV service system to begin and engage with the change journey.

*Please note - this online session is a virtual workshop and there will be no recording of the session.
