Skills First Professional Learning Program
Virtual Workshops - VET Teaching Series: Theory
Virtual Workshops:
These online sessions have been adapted from a full day workshop to a 3-hour online virtual workshop by experienced VDC consultants.
They will be run in a smaller group, with break out rooms for group discussion and ample opportunity to converse with group members and the facilitator to collaborate, share ideas and insights.
These virtual workshops will also include access to an e-book learning resource for those who attend.
Description
The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) provides funding to the VET Development Centre (VDC), to develop and deliver the Skills First Professional Learning Program to improve the knowledge, skills and practice of VET teachers, trainers and assessors, and strengthen the learning environment, experience and outcomes for all VET learners.
The VET Teaching Series: Theory virtual workshops have been designed and adapted into highly interactive virtual workshops for 30 participants. These virtual workshops will draw on educational theory to promote reflective practice and build practitioner training and assessment skills.
