HOTA proudly acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout South East Queensland.



HOTA is located in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, one of Australia’s premier tourist destinations and is serviced by daily flights to either Brisbane Airport or Gold Coast Airport.

From Brisbane:

  • Brisbane Airport to HOTA is 84kms (just over an hour’s drive south along the M1).
  • The airport offers several car rental and private transfer options.
  • The Airtrain connects with G:link to get you from Brisbane Airport to Surfers Paradise or use their premium service, Airtrain Connect direct to your accommodation or to HOTA.

From Gold Coast Airport:

Public Transport during your stay:

  • Hop on the HOPO Ferry and ride the scenic waterways:
  • You can ride the G:link to Surfers Paradise and walk across Chevron Island which takes around 20 minutes visit
  • The HOTA Green Bridge connects to Chevron Island for easy access to HOTA.
  • The City of Gold Coast has e-bikes available for hire throughout the City.

Parking and Vehicle Access
HOTA’s patron car park has unmetered and metered long stay and short stay parking options and disabled parking spaces. It does fill up though, so get here early – entry is via Bundall Road.
