Andrew debuted in the advertising world at Young & Rubicam Melbourne in 1993. His down-to-earth attitude quickly earned him the respect of his clients and peers, and he rose to Head of Account Management at Young & Rubicam Sydney in 1998. Following this, Andrew became Advertising Associates’ Managing Director in 2002, before continuing his ascent to join Singleton Ogilvy & Mather in 2004. Business savvy and pragmatic, from 2007 Andrew expanded Ogilvy Group in Melbourne exponentially, and was soon promoted to apply his successful approach at a national level – becoming the CEO of the company in 2011. During his four years in Melbourne, Andrew oversaw the highly profitable merger between BADJAR, Ogilvy and DT; major account wins such as Officeworks and MYER; and the opening of a number of companies including One20, Neo@Ogilvy and Ogilvy Action. Prior to that Andrew had been the Executive Director of Singleton Ogilvy & Mather Sydney.
While advertising takes centre stage in his professional life, Andrew's leadership shines through in other arenas, including as the Chairman of The Song Room, Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, Deakin Business School and the Melbourne Aces, and his positions on the Boards of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Communications Council, Catch Group, and on an Advisory Board for St Kilda FC.
