Trade Show Information (Exhibitor Registration has now closed)

The Events Centre, Caloundra, is proud to be hosting the 2021 Technical Managers’ Conference and Trade Show. The Trade Show is a vital component of the conference as it provides delegates access to the latest technology and provides suppliers extended networking opportunities. The Trade Show is also open to the public for one day - key industry contacts, local venues and related businesses will be encouraged to attend.

  • This plan is subject to change and Stage Queensland reserves the right to modify the Trade Show floorplan and other event details.
  • Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate your booth preferences, booths will be allocated on a first-in basis.

Trade Show Schedule
Sunday 21st February 2021 - Bump in and Welcome Function
12:00pm            Access to venue for Trade Show bump in
5pm – 6:30pm   Trade Show Opening and Welcome Function (for exhibitors & delegates)

Monday 22nd February 2021 – Trade Show Schedule
9:00am              Exhibitor venue access

10:00am            Tradeshow Doors open to Public & Stage Qld delegates

                          Morning tea & delegates’ dedicated time in Trade Show (45mins)

1:00pm              Silver Sponsor lunch & delegates’ dedicated time in Trade Show (1hr)

4:30pm              Trade Show Farewell Function with delegates & exhibitors (ends 5:30pm)

5:30pm              Trade Show ends, bump-out commences. Venue clear by 7pm.

Exhibitor Area Costs
Exhibitor area costs are as follows (includes exhibition space, single phase power, lighting and website listing):

  • Single Exhibitor Space 3m x 3m $850 inc GST
  • Double Exhibitor Space 6m x 3m $1,400 inc GST

Once you’ve registered, please contact Rowan Maclachlan at The Events Centre to discuss your display, power and deliveries/equipment, bump in and out requirements. Tables and chairs will be available at the venue. Earlier access for set up can be arranged with sufficient notice.

  • 1 x trestle table, 2 x chairs and 1 x black linen table cloth will be provided per Single Exhibitor Space (if required).
  • 1 x power access point will be allocated per Single Exhibitor Space and all electrical equipment is to be tested and tagged.
  • The Events Centre has a very limited amount of trolleys available for use so it is recommended that you bring your own if required.


It is a condition of participation that all Exhibitors MUST have public liability insurance for no less than $20m for the duration of the Trade Show and bump-in/bump-out.

Exhibitors must provide a copy of the certificate of currency to Stage Queensland by emailing Suzan Williams no later than two weeks prior to the event.

Caloundra is a stunning, laid-back coastal town located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast only an hour north of Brisbane and 30 minutes from Sunshine Coast airport. The Events Centre is in easy walking distance from the beach and main street (Bulcock Street) with its array of cafes and restaurants.

The Events Centre and Stage Queensland have negotiated excellent rates at a selection of centrally-located hotels and apartments. Please refer to the accommodation page for more information.

Parking and Vehicle Access
A free undercover car park is accessible from behind The Events Centre in Nutley Street. The surrounding streets also offer free and paid car parking.

Exhibitor Access
Best access is via the front foyer entry, where the driveway can accept large vans and small trucks. From there, it is a flat push to the Kings Theatre. Unload into the foyer and move your vehicle as quickly as possible to allow for other deliveries. (A map will be supplied to all exhibitors).
