FACULTY:  Dr Kurinji Kannan, Dr Chris Barry, Ms Patricia Neuman, Ms Christine Murray, Dr Lucy Bates, Ms Melissa Smith and Ms Jen Rayner

The workshop will provide information on vaginal pessary fitting and their management as well
research backgrounds, the current guidelines and protocols for their use. With case studies and
contemporary surgical updates this course will provide the grounding required to understand their
appropriate use in current day female prolapse.

    3.5 hours
    $80.00
  • Pelvic Floor Ultrasound Workshop -The Window to Functional Anatomy

FACULTY:  Prof Peter Dietz, A/Prof Clara Shek, Dr Vivien Wong

An insightful use of pelvic floor ultrasound in evaluating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. This
course will provide an overview of pelvic floor ultrasound in evaluating patients with pelvic organ
prolapse, urinary and faecal incontinence, including the evaluation of synthetic implants and maternal birth trauma. Participants will leave the workshop with an appreciation for comprehensive pelvic floor assessment.

    3.5 hours
    $150.00
2:00 PM
  • Hands On Clay Pelvis Workshop

FACULTY:  Dr Oliver Daly, Prof Malcolm Frazer, Dr Bernadette Brown, Dr Yu Hwee Tan

Would you like to gain a better understanding of pelvic anatomy by building your own pelvis? This
practical workshop will provide a theoretical and practical approach to learning pelvic anatomy.
The workshop will comprise an afternoon session commencing with an overview of pelvic structur
    and supports.

Pairs of participants will then work together to build a pelvis using clay and other
materials starting with the bony pelvis. Participants will identify bony landmarks of the pelvis and
upper femur, the obstetric dimensions and clinical correlates. They will identify the attachments and build the ligamentous structures, muscle groups, pelvic organs, ureters and nerves that comprise the pelvis resulting in a complete pelvis enabling visualisation from an abdominal and perineal perspective.

    3.5 hours
    $120.00
  • Sacroneuromodulation Workshop

  • Laparoscopic and Robotic Pelvic Floor Surgery

FACULTY:  Dr Marcus Carey, Dr Mark Slack, Dr Felicity Gould, Dr Chin Yong

Live surgery enables contextual understanding for pelvic organ prolapse surgery but limits learning
opportunities due to time constraints. Edited high definition video recordings with annotated
commentary will permit a broad range of cases to be discussed, risk and anatomical landmarks.
From mesh-free laparoscopic Burch and uterine conservation to robotic sacrocolpopexy this session
will ideally dovetail to the simulation workshop in the afternoon.

    3.5 hours
    $250.00
  • Combined discounted rate for the Laparoscopic & Robotic Pelvic Floor & Sacral Colpopexy Workshops

Laparoscopic and Robotic Pelvic Floor Surgery
FACULTY:  Dr Marcus Carey, Dr Mark Slack, Dr Felicity Gould, Dr Chin Yong
    Time: 8.30am - 12.30pm

    Sacral Colpopexy Simulation Workshop
FACULTY:  Dr Alex Mowat, Dr Christopher Maher
    Time: 2.00pm - 5.30pm

This is a special combined discounted rate and saving of $150 for the Laparoscopic & Robotic Pelvic Floor & the Sacral Colpopexy Simulation Workshops both hosted on Thursday 21st March, 2019.
