By Air
Vaclav Havel Airport Prague is located 17 Km west of the city centre and is the main gateway to the Czech Republic. Many direct flight from European cities are available as well as from North America, The Middle East and Asia.
By Train
Prague is well integrated into European rail networks. If coming from Berlin, Vienna or Budapest train travel is the easier option.
Most trains arrive at Pragues main station Praha hiavni nadrazi. There is a stop on metro line C in the station.
By Bus
Several bus companies offer long-distance coach service connecting Prague to cities around Europe.
Car
Prague lies at the nexus of several European highways and is an easy drive from many major cities including:
- Pilsen - one hour
- Munich - four hours
- Berlin - four hours
- Nuremberg - three hours
- Vienna - four hours
- Budapest - four hours
- Warsaw - six hours and 30 minutes
Weather & Clothing
November - The weather is getting cold at this time of year. The average day begins at a temperature of 5.5 degrees celcius and reaches a high of around 9 degrees C. The low is around 2 degrees C at night.
There is a very high possibility of rainfall = mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of rain.
It is appropriate to dress for the cold weather.
Currency
Although the Czech Republic is part of the EU they do not officially use the Euro.
The accepted currency is the Czech Crown (Koruna) CZK. One Crown consists of 100 Hellers. Heller coins are not in use. The final price is always rounded to the nearest Crown value.

DINING
The hotel has 2 restaurants. Costa Praga is the international buffet venue, while Il Giardino serves Italian cuisine.
There are a couple of bars as well – the Lobby Bar and the Tower Lounge Bar, up on the hill in the executive building. This bar is also open to all guests and there’s an al fresco terrace open until 1:00am.
