Workshop: Preparing for an Audit
Quality, Compliance & Auditing
The VET system credibility rests on effective assessment. Assessment outcomes, represented in qualifications or skillsets, stand as a guarantee about what a person knows and can do. It’s no surprise that the Standards for RTOs (2015), and auditors, emphasise robust assessment design, evidence and outcomes.
This workshop examines clauses 1.8 – 1.12 of the Standards – the assessment clauses. We unpack the meanings and expectations wrapped up in them. You will take away an understanding of how to document assessment practice so your RTO’s guarantee is good and you are always audit ready.
