Workshop: Addressing Dyslexia & other SLDs in the Classroom

3rd Jun 2020
09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
VET Development Centre, Level 8 379 Collins Street Melbourne Victoria Australia 3000

VET programs, that are based on applied learning principals, are a great option for many students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) such as dyslexia.

This one-day workshop aims to provide attendees with an understanding of what SLDs are, how to identify a student with SLD, as well as insights into some of the day-to-day learning challenges these students face in the classroom.

It will also provide practical, easy-to-implement strategies that will progress student learning – without funding – that will make your classroom accessible to all your students, including those with SLD.
