Transfer Information

Transfers from/to Airport
There are no conference organised transfers from/to airport. Therefore, you may take an Airtrain service, a taxi or book a ride share service such as Uber or Didi. All options are at your own expenses.

Airtrain
The Airtrain Brisbane is a fast and efficient rail link between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane CBD (Central Business Disctrict), making travelling easy for delegates. The trains run every 15 minutes in peak travelling times and every 30 minutes outside of these times. A full timetable can be found by clicking here.

For more information about Brisbane, please download the Brisbane visitors guide.

Transfers from/to Hotels – Conference Venue
There are no organised transfers from/to hotels and conference venue

Brisbane is a compact city with most hotels nearby and within a comfortable 5 - 20 minute walk.

Public Transportation
Taxi ranks are available at the Brisbane international and domestic airports, as well as throughout the city and inner-city precincts. When arriving into Australia you will not need to book a taxi, simply walk outside the airport to the taxi rank.

A standard taxi will cater for 4 passengers or less. For wheel-chair access or to transport 5 to 10 passengers, it’s best to order a Multi Passenger taxi. Unlike other cities, when the taxi light is on, this means that the taxi is unavailable.

Black & White Cabs I 133 222 / Yellow Taxi I 13 19 24

Trains, City Cats (public catamaran) as well as buses also operate with convenient services to the South Bank convention precinct. Please visit the translink website to plan your journey. The best way to purchase a City Cat ticket is on the ferry using Australian cash.
