The program on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 October will be at the National Library of Australia. The Wednesday program which includes the official welcome reception will be held at Australian National University (ANU) College of Business & Economics. Maps of each venue are included below.

The National Library of Australia is located on Parkes Place in the central Canberra suburb of Parkes in the Parliamentary Triangle.


There are several car parks surrounding the Library. A large all day car park can be found further along Parkes Place, towards the lake. Disabled parking can be found immediately south of the Library, in the car park closest to the front entrance. A smaller all day car park is also located south of the Library, near the loading bay and secure bicycle parking facilities. 

All day parking is $12 and is highlighted in red on the map below. The blue highlights are short stay (4hrs). Please note parking tickets are not interchangeable between the red and blue parks.

Bicycle parking

Bicycle parking is available on the south side of the front entrance and in the car park adjacent to the loading dock off King Edward Terrace.

Travel by bus

ACTION bus services provide regular buses throughout the area. Closest bus stops are located along Commonwealth Avenue and King Edward Terrace.

Due to current parking restrictions at ANU there is no available visitor parking. 

Close to the College of Business and Economics are two commercial car parks.
