Refining your students’ strokes can become frustrating and often students will stop progressing without the right correctional strategies. How do you know what is the right corrective strategy to use?
Join AUSTSWIM as they present the master, Leigh Nugent, to share his knowledge on how to identify faults and apply simple solutions to correct them. Leigh will share his Fault Identification and Correction Methodology with you, so you too can gain maximum results with your students. Increase your knowledge and understanding of stroke fault identification and leave with a whole toolbox of skills to be able to implement into your classes.

Bye bye mum and dad, it’s time to hit the ‘big’ kids class.
Our young charges are at great risk around water as we see yearly in the Royal Life Saving Drowning Report. As AUSTSWIM Teachers it is essential to ensure water safety skills and knowledge are at the forefront of programming for our blossoming little independent swimmers.
The transition from parent and bub classes to teacher facilitated swimming and water safety lessons needs to be stress free and child focused. Our young students can perform amazing skills in this transition period with patience and guidance from nurturing teachers. Join the team from Laurie Lawrence Swim School to explore how, as AUSTSWIM Teachers, we can make the transition period full of fun and learning with extensive skill progressions, giving our students the best start to becoming independent in the water.
Standard Enrolment Fee $75

The workshop is run by Senior Behaviour Specialist Erika Gleeson. Erika Gleeson is also the Founder and Clinical Director of Autism Swim. The workshop will offer you an introduction into the world of Positive Behaviour Support, and will teach you the fundamentals in terms of analysing behaviour and then being able to apply the appropriate strategies. The workshop will be a combination of lecturing and hands-on components; and whilst the content has been designed specifically for your swimmers with other abilities, the same information is applicable to mainstream swimmers also. If you work with anyone who exhibits challenging behaviour, this workshop is a must!
