Post-COVID – the hospitality industry is slowly returning to a level of profitability as more Australians (either business or leisure) embark on travel both domestically and more recent internationally. Sadly, International visitors to Australia are taking a lot longer to return to the numbers we saw pre-COVID and that is going to take some time yet for this to occur.
In the current situation, the hospitality industry must develop strategies, both short-term and long-term, to encourage people to resume travel whether it be for business or leisure. Modern technologies can and must play a vital role in achieving that objective.
