Restrictions are Easing for Sailing & Hospitality!

Saturday 11 - Sunday 12 July 2020

With the recent easing of the COVID-19 restrictions we are giving you a further opportunity to enter this great event with the extension of the Early Bird Offer - Early Bird entries have now been extended to Friday 3rd July! Register now to secure your place HERE.

Registration is open to World Sailing preferred youth classes as well as selected youth and junior nationally recognised classes.

This event will also include the Queensland Flying 11 State Championships. We look forward to seeing you on the water.

Expressions of interest are now open for RQYS Youth Squad training based on the demand from our members. We support the following Fleets, with accredited coaching on a demand-driven basis. Individual, group and alternate class coaching is available on request:

Optimist Green, Optimist Intermediate, Optimist Open, Flying 11, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, 29er, Nacra 15

If you do not sail one of the above but are interested in the sailing program, private or small group coaching please contact the Sailing Office via sailing@rqys.com.au with the class of boat you sail, and your availability and we will endeavour to assist you. 

At 12 noon on Friday 3 July the eased restrictions will mean we will be able to have one person for each 4 square metres in our Bar, Café and Restaurant areas. Members and guests will also be permitted to go to the Bar.

Initially our Bar Menu and Takeaway will be available pending the opening of our Café and Restaurant in the days following. We will keep you informed of these exciting changes as soon as we are able.
