Step inside past the large ‘barn doors’ and you’ll enter ‘Black Hall’.  It offers its restored timber floors, panelled walls and a welcoming stone fireplace complete with antler chandelier.   Long, rustic timber tables with oak cross-backed chairs, also help to create the country feel. Black Hall is a versatile venue perfect for a wedding reception, birthday celebration, business conference or even a weekend retreat.

The Barn Bar oozes country spirit and your guests will love it, celebrating under the rustic ladder chandelier and festoon lighting. The intimate, elegant, country style is a truly wonderful way to create a beautiful memory, like no other.

Transportation

Please note that we also have our very own 24-seater mini bus available for hire. We are able to transport you and your guests to and from the venue within a 12-15km radius. Please contact us for further information and pricing details. Also available is a luxury mini-van transport service offering bespoke packages.

If beautiful, country style is something that you both are looking for, then White Chapel is just perfect. Carefully restored and transformed into a gorgeous wedding venue, the chapel has many exquisite features which combine nostalgic country with modern touches.

White Chapel features original timber floors, romantic iron chandeliers and panelled walls throughout. A gothic, back-lit altar sits upon the stage at the end of the aisle and beautifully frames a couple during the exchanging of their vows. For their guests looking on, it appears like ‘a halo of love and blessing’.

At White Chapel, attention to detail is important, but attention to the comfort of our bridal party and their guests, is of equal importance.

The chapel is fully air-conditioned and includes the latest sound and P.A. system. A hidden door from the main area leads to the ‘partner’s reception area’. Here, the partner and their bridal team can relax overlooking the landscaped gardens and enjoy that special time in the leadup to the couple’s impending celebration.

No, you can just book a ceremony in White Chapel and have your reception at another place
No problem, we can organise a custom package for your event. There are a number of ways to enjoy a reception with your guests.
No, but we can organise a 'custom package' with catering to better suit your requirements.
Of course. In White Chapel we provide the package inclusions, however you are welcome to use your own. With Black Hall packages we include one level of styling with all of our packages, but you may want to upgrade from what we offer. We will not however, deduct any cost from the package if you choose to decorate yourself.
Yes, there are approximately 120 beds within a 15 klm radius. We have that information in our 'accommodation' section of our website. Our private bus also addresses how your guests can be easily transported around.
There are a number of private bus lines that will bring your guests out and take them back. One is travelsafecoachhire.com.au
A tentative booking will hold the date for 7 days only and will automatically lapse unless advised otherwise. After that you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to hold the date for your wedding.
Menu tastings are not included in your package, however we are able to arrange one with our caterers once you have secured your booking at an additional cost to you. Please contact us for more information regarding menu tastings and to arrange this.
No we don't offer wedding financing, but the payment schedule which is in our terms and conditions allows for progressive payments. Contact us for Terms and Conditions contract.
All of our packages are inclusive of catering. If you do not see what you are after we are able to provide a custom catering option, however we do not allow external caterers to be brought on site.

No BYO alcohol is permitted on site. We are a licensed venue and all of our packages include beverages. To discuss beverage options further please contact us.

We can certainly put you in touch with a range of top professionals who we know would do a wonderful job for your special day.
Yes, absolutely. We have a number of beautiful settings in our chapel grounds including our 2.3 metre fairytale book, our two-tiered fountain, our white French door Arbor, and our white picture frame. Plus, there are numerous gorgeous backdrops for wedding photography in the local area - these range from rural farms, to country fences, to very old trees, to old farm trailers to hay bales. Our historic town of Kalbar also has some wonderful old buildings for photography too.
Whilst winter days in the Kalbar/Boonah area are usually warm (22-23 degrees) the nights can be cool and can drop down to 6 degrees and sometimes lower overnight. But, we've set up White Chapel Kalbar and Black Hall Kalbar to make winter weddings very special. Our chapel has reverse cycle air conditioning to keep things warm (or cool during summer). Black Hall Kalbar has a stunning gas fireplace as a centrepiece and additionally also has reverse cycle air conditioning. Black Hall's pergola area has a wood burning outdoor fireplace for a wonderful atmosphere and plenty of warmth. Plus, wood buring firepits are available in our outdoor Barn Bar.
Yes, tables and chairs are included. If you wish to add on additional styling for your outdoor reception such as festoon lighting this can be arranged with our stylists at an additional cost to you.
