Can children come to the Beer Garden?

Yes, we are a child friendly venue! Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and supervised within the event area. For evening events, children must be off premise by 9pm.

Can we have music at our event?

Yes, we have some areas in which we can allow live music. As we are an open planned venue, all entertainment must be discussed and approved by Surfers Paradise Beer Garden Management.

Do you host 18th birthday parties?

As we do not have fully private function rooms, we are unable to host 18th birthday functions.

Can I BYO food and/or beverages?

In accordance with the venues food safety program, no food is to be brought into the venue, or taken from the venue with the exception of an occasion cake. We have a wide range of items on offer for you and your guests to choose from on our function menu.

Can I decorate the space I hire for my function?

You are more than welcome to bring in decorations for your event. Unfortunately we can not allow any items to be attached, pinned, stuck or glued to and surface within the venue. Let the hotel know prior to the fact and we can accept deliveries of balloons on the day of your function.

Do you cater for vegans / vegetarians?

At the time of making your booking, let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements and we will add notes your your function pack. Please be aware that all care is taken when catering for special requirements. Please be aware that within the premises we handle nuts, seafood, shellfish, sesame seeds, wheat flour, eggs, fungi and dairy products. Customer requests will be catered for to the best of our ability, but the decision to consume a meal is the responsibility of the diner.

Can I arrange a bar tab?

A bar tab can be set up at the beginning of your function with a specified limit. This can be revised as your function progresses and increased if need be. We suggest selecting a range of our beers on tap and a sparkling, red and white wine.

Does the venue have onsite parking?

Unfortunately we don't have our own car park facilities. However the Paradise Centre car park is right below us via Hanlan Street, and the Bruce Bishop car park is walking distance on Beach Road. We are also less than 100m from the Cavill Ave Station on the G-Link line.
