We welcome you to come and discuss plans for your special occasion. There are many facilities offers to make your event unforgettable and success.Featured is a signature century old Camphor Laurel tree with garlanded swing for two,and sweeping lawns to Gin House Creek. For that rustic feel there is a giant Southern Cross windmill beside the chook mansion, home to purebred chickens. Overlooking this is the Old Shed Bar creating that extra special for pre-reception area canapes and drinks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Braeside is a fully licensed venue and therefore is strictly NON - BYO. If you have a special drink you would like that is not featured in our bar menu please advise and we will do our best to source this for you to serve on the night.
Absolutely! Our only condition is that they remain on a leash for their own safety and that they are taken home before the reception. This is to ensure their safety and comfort on the day.
There are up to 30 car parks available on site. Most guests will car pool/catch taxi's or Uber to the event. We have staff on site to assist with parking on the day.
We strongly suggest and recommend you use either of our two preferred catering companies because we want you to have the best possible experience for your special day. Monsoon and VGC Catering have done multiple events at Braeside and can cater your event, effortlessly and seamlessly from our catering area. They are familiar with the venues expectations and requirements for catering. Both companies are happy to go above and beyond for you the client to make your day as special and unique as you are.
Your wedding is a reflection of you as well as the venue. We recommend the vendors we do because we know you won't be disappointed. Through years of combined experience, we have seen too many couples wedding days ruined by poor service from vendors and we want your day to run as smoothly and perfectly as possible.
We cannot always guarantee access to the venue to set up for your wedding until the time of the event.

In some cultures, rain on your wedding day is good luck! However at Braeside we will make the call on the day as the event time gets closer to move the potentially effected part of your event to a suitable covered area. This call is made by us in consultation with you on the day. Braeside offers some complimentary umbrellas for your guests to use whilst on site.
We have a ramp available for any guests requiring special assistance to the upper lawn as well as a unisex disabled toilet on this level.
We can cater for up to 120 guests
We can fit 90 guests seated or up to 115 by removing the back pews to create standing room
