The Irwin Recreation Centre is a friendly and vibrant health and leisure fitness centre that provides both social and active programs and opportunities for the whole family.

Located at Ridley Street, Port Denison the Centre boasts a massive 2 court stadium, large function centre with full commercial kitchen plus bar, new change rooms, offices and reception, storerooms, plus a smaller function / meeting / tennis club room, known as the 'Ocean Room'. The Irwin Rec was officially opened on 20th February 2009.

The Dongara Function Centre is a modern, comfortable facility, a perfect venue for wedding receptions, corporate events, conferences, training sessions, seminars, workshops, meetings or celebrating those special birthday milestones. Our Function Centre is fully air-conditioned and has the capacity to totally cater for 200 people for a sit down meal. It also has a full commercial kitchen, huge cool room and modern bar. So if you are planning a wedding, party or special event, then the Dongara Function Room is for you. The Ocean Room is a modern, air-conditioned room with a great outlook over our grass tennis courts. This facility offers a small kitchen and is utilised by our Tennis Club as a club house during the tennis season. The Ocean Room with a capacity of up to 100 people is ideal for meetings, conferences, workshops and seminars. It also has a large undercover outdoor area to take a break or entertain during a function.
