Frequently Asked Questions
There are two levels of basement car parking, located just off the hotels main entrance (7 Staghorn Avenue).
Upon arrival, the boom gate will open automatically. Car parking is subject to availability and guests will need a key to exit the car park.
Day Guests
Guests should present to reception to arrange payment and collection of their car parking pass prior to exiting the car park.
Guests with Accommodation
Upon check-in guests will be asked if they require parking. Their room key will be programmed to allow exit from the car park.
Driving from Brisbane
Take the M1, and continue along M1/Pacific Motorway; take exit 66 for Smith Street Motorway toward Southport (6.6km).
Turn right onto Marine Parade and continue for 4.3km, then turn left onto Staghorn Ave (QT will be on your left).
Driving from the Gold Coast Airport
Follow Eastern Ave and Terminal Drive to Gold Coast Highway/A1 (21.7km).
Turn right onto Cypress Ave, right onto Surfers Paradise Blvd, left onto View Ave, left onto The Esplanade, and then left onto Staghorn Ave. (QT will be on your right).
Gold Coast Cabs
Call 131 008 or 07 5588 1234. Flat rate of $59 applies for one-way transfers from the Gold Coast Airport to Surfers Paradise Hotels.
Public Transport
Available nearby is the bus, train and G:link Tram.

If you have a gocard you can use this while in the Gold Coast. gocards can be purchased from Translink online or at retailers nearby the QT.

Con-X-ions Bus Transfers
Con-X-ion provide the most frequent and direct door to door shuttle transfer service to and from Gold Coast and Brisbane and meet all major flights. All information can be found on their easy to use website: con-x-ion.com
Our Manager of Audio Visual and Digital Design Joseph Bartlett will be happy to provide a tailored proposal for all your AV needs, including data projector, screen, sound and draping on request.
For smaller meetings, you are welcome to supply your own data projector & screen but please note if you require asssitance to set up or operate your own equipment, charges may apply.
If supplying your own laptop, please note that we have HDMI & VGA connections available, please supply your own adapters if your device requires an alternate connectivity.
Should you wish to bring an external AV supplier for your event a Technician on Duty will be required for the full duration the external company is on site and will be charged at the reduced technician rate of $55/hour.
Dietary requirements must be advised by the event organiser seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the event.
Where possible, please choose your menu selections in accordance to the dietary requirements of your guests.
Individual menus and/or food items to suit personal preferences will not be supplied without a surcharge being incurred.
