Funds from the Breakfast will be donated to Dream Stitches

Most migrant and refugee women arrive in Australia with little education and few job-related skills. This program teaches the women sewing skills and builds their confidence and creative skills so that they can supplement their family income and become active members in their local community.

The project began in 2003 and is an initiative of the Anglican Church in response to the needs of recently arrived refugees from Sri Lanka, Rwanda, Afganistan, Iran and Sudan.

The program is operated from St Aidans Church Hall, 10 Surrey Street, Box Hill South 3128
