'Key Competencies in a Digital World' is brought to you by our digital fluency facilitators. If you are an educator wishing to enhance your digital fluency in professional practice, this self-directed course examines tools that support learning through the lenses of each of the key competencies.

This series comprises seven modules that can be worked through at your own pace.Each module includes readings, resources, examples, practical in-class tasks to try, and a voluntary assessment task.
Upon commencement, you will have six months' access to the course site and the ability to submit any assessments for feedback.
This program is directed at teachers working in years 0-8.

Self-Directed Learning

Module 1 - Introduction to the course.
Module 2 - Managing self: meet goals, manage time, and make decisions including using calendars effectively.
Module 3 - Participating and contributing: make connections locally, nationally and internationally. contribute to positive changes in the world including creating a simple website.
Module 4 - Relating to others: enabling safe, respectful online interactions for positive outcomes including creating digital pepeha.
Module 5 - Language symbols and texts: competently and confidently communicate in the digital world including  creative ways to use emojis in the classroom.
Module 6 - Thinking: making decisions, shaping actions and developing intellectual curiosity e.g. creating graphic organisers.
Module 7 - Putting it all together.
