Arrival Information
Maori and Pacific Careers Expo
Date: Thursday 19th May 2022
Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm (access from 10:00am for set up)
Venue: Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, University of Waikato
Arrival & Parking: Gate 1, Knighton Road
Your parking for the day is located through Gate 1, Knighton Road. In the car park, there will be University of Waikato volunteers to assist with parking and to help you transport your materials to the venue.
Additional vehicles: We cannot guarantee available space for any additional cars. If your organisation does need to bring more than one car, you may need to park in a ‘General Parking’ area at a cost of $2 per day. Please note payment for the general parking area is done through MyPark app. Please find further information here.
Setup
You will have access to the venue from 10:00 am onwards on the morning of Thursday 19th May. The Expo is formally open to students between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
Exhibitors will have a space that includes: One table (1.8m x 1.2m) and a table cloth
Lunch packs will be provided and guest wifi is available for exhibitors if required. Further details will be provided on the day.
Please let us know in advance if you require access to power.
Vaccinations
As of 14 February 2022, the University of Waikato will require all staff, students and visitors to campus to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Vaccine passes will be required to attend this expo. By booking your place at the expo you confirm that all staff attending the expo on behalf of your company are vaccinated.
After the Expo
The Careers Expo will finish at 2:00pm and you are free to pack up after this time. Staff and student volunteers will be available to help carry materials back to your vehicle.
General Careers Expo (incorporating Business & Management and STEM expos)
