Annette initially trained and worked as a registered nurse in Townsville, Melbourne and the UK. She graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1994. She completed her post-graduate studies in Continence and Pelvic Rehabilitation at University of Melbourne.

Annette has extensive practical experience in both hospital and community settings. She sees people with varied conditions affecting their pelvic health, intimacy and daily life. These include pain, incontinence, prolapse, urine issues (leakage, pain and voiding difficulty), and bowel issues (constipation, straining and sphincter issues leading to either faecal incontinence or pain).

She specialises in pregnancy and postnatal issues including mastitis, abdominal separation, pelvic weakness, prolapse, carpal tunnel syndrome, de quervain’s, pelvic girdle and spinal pain. 

Deborah has had a global influence on the promotion and prevention of endometriosis worldwide. She developed the world’s first Menstrual Health and Endometriosis (me™) programme for schools in 1997, which has significantly influenced early recognition of symptoms and timely intervention in adolescents in New Zealand. This has been endorsed by the World Endometriosis Society (WES) as the preferred education programme worldwide.

She has developed innovative health initiatives and programmes for schools, workplaces, hospitals and Continuing Medical Education (CME). She was instrumental in developing a Task Force with the Ministry of Health to improve the diagnosis and management of endometriosis in New Zealand, the outcome of which has been the development of a new Clinical Pathway. Her private practice EPP Coaching and Consulting integrates into four treatment centres offering multi-disciplinary expertise in New Zealand and focuses on education and evidence-based lifestyle management options and well-health coaching

Nikki is an experienced registered nurse and clinical leader with expertise in assessing, managing and navigating endometriosis, persistent pelvic pain and infertility. She believes in reducing barriers to accessing care, working within a holistic framework and encouraging patient empowerment and self-management within the biopsychosocial model. Nikki is passionate about trauma informed care and improving the experiences of transgender, non-binary, and neurodivergent people with pelvic pain and endometriosis. Nikki is currently undertaking her Nurse Practitioner candidacy in collaboration with the University of Melbourne.

Dr. Laura Chapman is an experienced general practitioner specialising in pelvic health and women’s health and an international speaker and expert advisor on pelvic pain. She is passionate about fostering positive doctor-patient relationships, advocating for those with persistent pelvic pain, and promoting holistic care.

Pinar Cingiloglu completed her MBBS and Bachelor of Health Sciences at University of Queensland, where she was also an associate lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology. She is currently completing an advanced laparoscopic fellowship at Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Women’s Hospital. She is passionate about women’s health, endometriosis and pelvic pain management, and is focusing on research in this area.

Maree Davenport is the Chief Executive Officer of Endometriosis Australia. She also serves on the Federal Department of Health Endometriosis Expert Advisory Group and the organising committee for the World Congress on Endometriosis (hosted by Sydney in 2025).

Maree was the youngest woman elected to the Parliament of Victoria (aged 28), the first to have a baby while serving and was appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Housing, Community Services and Aged Care, Member & Deputy Chair of the Joint All-Party Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee, Chair of the Redundant Legislation and Regulation Review SARC Committees and other senior policy roles.

A Member of Chief Executive Women and accredited Mediator (NMAS), she holds a Master of Leadership specialising in gender equality, diversity and inclusion, along with tertiary qualifications in property, communications, risk (GIA) and governance (AICD).

Dr Druitt is an obstetrician gynaecologist who trained at the Mercy Hospital in Melbourne, rurally in Warrnambool and Wangaratta and overseas in Ireland and Vietnam before moving to Geelong in 2011.

She has completed a fellowship in Advanced laparoscopy at Monash Medical Centre and has a special interest in endometriosis and pelvic pain and minimally invasive surgery including hysteroscopic management of fibroids and total laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Dr Druitt is also the gynaecologist at the multidisciplinary Persistent Pelvic Pain clinic and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Deakin University.

Qing is a junior doctor at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and an advocate for Women’s Health. Committed to enhancing the understanding and care of the unique medical needs of women, she brings insights through her research in endometriosis.

Shane is the Chief Executive Officer of Little Big Steps; a charity helping kids with cancer.  Shane is also a speaker, trainer and facilitator. He has been providing consulting services in communication and strategy for over 25 years.

He is the host and producer of 3RRR’s science radio program Einstein A Go Go. Over the last 30 years he has interviewed thousands of scientists. In 2020 he was awarded an Order of Australia in recognition of his science communication work.

He is the Founder and Director of the Innovation Group Pty Ltd, a scientific equipment supplier in Australia and New Zealand since 1999 and is a Senior Associate with consulting firm Outside Opinion.

Previously he was Deputy Director of the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH) which he established in 2011. Prior to his work in the Faculty of Medicine, he was Principal Strategy Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor of The University of Melbourne.

Kate is a speaker, writer, and endometriosis patient.

Kate has a Master of Public Health with a focus on sexual health from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley. She has spent many years teaching sexual health education to people of all ages in Australia, the US, Canada, and New Zealand.

Sam's clinical interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, management of benign pelvic masses and heavy menstrual bleeding. She is an accredited AGES Level 6 Laparoscopic Surgeon. Sam finds joy in providing patient-focused and evidence-based care to women with a range of gynaecological concerns. She endeavours to be a kind and thorough doctor, maintaining a calm and personal atmosphere. Sam is an active clinical researcher, with interests in endometriosis, fertility, pelvic pain and hysteroscopic techniques. Sam is actively involved with End-IT Endometriosis research group.

She is the current Acting Director of the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre of Excellence at Epworth. Sam was awarded the Inaugural AGES/Hologic Travelling Fellowship for Hysteroscopic surgery in 2020 and recently travelled to the Netherlands to observe certain surgical techniques for Asherman’s syndrome.

Emma is a specialist gynaecologist who holds a Head of Unit position at the Mercy Hospital for Women in endo-surgical procedures.

Emma provides specialist care in endometriosis, laparoscopic procedures  hysteroscopic procedures and general gynaecology. 

Emma has been regularly visiting Mongolia for the last 10 years and has been teaching and operating there. She has published widely and is involved in research, with numerous grants for ongoing gynaecological projects.

Melissa is a registered nurse/midwife, clinician, researcher, educator and coordinator of the Canberra Endometriosis Centre at the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children within ACT Health. Melissa has developed the PIPPA (Period ImPact and Assessment) tool for identifying menstrual disturbance and possible endometriosis in teenagers from the MDOT (Menstrual Disorder of Teenagers) studies, two large population based investigations of typical and problematic periods in Australian teenagers (2005/2016).
 

Melissa has also developed a highly innovative nurse-led treatment approach which assists teenagers and women in understanding endometriosis/pelvic pain and treatment options, as well as recognise responsibility for overall health, skill building and self management of chronic illness.

Dr Kate Tyson is a specialist minimally invasive gynaecologist, having completed an Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery (A.G.E.S.) fellowship at Monash Health. She has a special interest in Endometriosis and pelvic pain, as well as fibroids. She is trained in advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.

She is the inaugural Director of the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre, and is passionate about reducing the time of diagnosis of Endometriosis, as well as research into novel methods of diagnosis and treatment.

Antonina Mikocka-Walus is Professor of Health Psychology in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. She is a psychologist with expertise in clinical health psychology, behavioural medicine and psychosomatic medicine. Her particular expertise is in psychogastroenterology. She graduated in psychology from the University of Warsaw, and medicine from the University of Adelaide. After completing her doctorate, she held a postdoctoral position in epidemiology and neuropsychology at Monash University. She later held senior roles at the University of South Australia and the University of York in the UK.
