Nikki is an experienced registered nurse and clinical leader with expertise in assessing, managing and navigating endometriosis, persistent pelvic pain and infertility. She believes in reducing barriers to accessing care, working within a holistic framework and encouraging patient empowerment and self-management within the biopsychosocial model. Nikki is passionate about trauma informed care and improving the experiences of transgender, non-binary, and neurodivergent people with pelvic pain and endometriosis. Nikki is currently undertaking her Nurse Practitioner candidacy in collaboration with the University of Melbourne.

Dr. Laura Chapman is an experienced general practitioner specialising in pelvic health and women’s health and an international speaker and expert advisor on pelvic pain. She is passionate about fostering positive doctor-patient relationships, advocating for those with persistent pelvic pain, and promoting holistic care.

Emma has worked at WMHP for over ten years, with a brief break a number of years ago to work in Hong Kong.  Emma is a passionate pelvic floor physiotherapist with a caring and genuine nature, and has completed extensive professional development in the areas of pelvic pain, pregnancy & post-natal care, and bowel disorders.  She has also achieved Titling as an APA women’s, men’s & pelvic health physiotherapist. 

Dr Tamara Mogilevski is a gastroenterologist who combines public work at the Alfred Hospital with private practice at Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne. Dr Mogilevski is a co-founder of the Melbourne Gut Clinic and is experienced in all aspects of gastroenterology. She welcomes referrals for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency, bowel cancer screening, coeliac disease, endometriosis related gut symptoms, liver disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. Dr Mogilevski holds an academic position at Monash university and is a member of the IBD faculty for the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).

Dr Philip Thomas graduated with honours from Monash University Medical School in 1991, training in general surgery at the Alfred Hospital and Austin and Repatriation Medical Centres for five years before commencing Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre in 1997, obtaining the specialist qualification MRANZCOG in 2000. He then spent two years in England and Scotland. In 2002, he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and was elevated to Fellowship of the RANZCOG in 2003.

Upon returning to Australia, Philip undertook a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Royal Women’s Hospital, working as staff specialist before entering private practice. He now trains other specialists and senior registrars in the same field, and is a trainer for the Monash Medical Centre gynaecological endosurgery programme and preceptorship courses.

Philip has worked as a consultant at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, Box Hill Hospital and Sandringham Hospitals, and works in Leongatha (rural Victoria) in gynaecology and infertility. A Masters Degree in Reproductive Medicine was completed through UNSW in 2011. One of his main roles now is to supervise and mentor specialists in training, as Chairman of the RANZCOG Surgical Skills Training Group.

His main areas of practice are infertility, endometriosis and its surgical treatment, menstrual disorders and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Kate Tyson is a specialist minimally invasive gynaecologist, having completed an Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery (A.G.E.S.) fellowship at Monash Health. She has a special interest in Endometriosis and pelvic pain, as well as fibroids. She is trained in advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.

She is the inaugural Director of the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre, and is passionate about reducing the time of diagnosis of Endometriosis, as well as research into novel methods of diagnosis and treatment.
