The Chant West Super Fund Awards recognise excellence across 13 award categories and showcase industry best practice to help lift standards across the super industry and improve member outcomes.

The theme of this year’s awards is ‘Retirement Takes Centre Stage’.

The primary objective of superannuation is to provide Australians with retirement income however, as an industry, we have typically been focused more on the accumulation phase. With the growing wave of retirees, regulator focus on retirement and the Retirement Income Covenant obligations, retirement issues have recently been placed under the spotlight.

This year’s awards will highlight funds that are focused on preparing members for retirement and helping them get the most out of their retirement savings.
