The grand entrance at Rydges Capital Hill Canberra is alive with gorgeous auburn foliage in the autumn and vibrant cherry blossoms in the spring.  The enchanting beauty flows across the foyer and expands into the mesmerising atrium, an ideal wedding venue in Canberra for your special ceremony or cocktail reception.

Rydges Capital Hill has a reputation for excellent service and amazing food. Whether it is an intimate wedding for 20 guests or something more lavish, our venue options can cater for up to 150 guests.

The Forrest Suite features beautiful natural light and floor to ceiling windows and can cater for weddings of up to 130 guests (minimum 80 adults). The smaller, Wellington Room is more intimate, with an open side offering an outlook to the hotel breathtaking Garden atrium. This room can cater for weddings with up to 90 guests (minimum 50 adults).  Our Intimate Wedding Reception Package caters for  smaller, simpler weddings of up to 40 guests in a semi-private section of Figtree Restaurant (minimum 20 adults).

With our All Inclusive Wedding packages designed to take the stress out of planning. We also design wedding packages with inclusions to meet all your needs, delivering amazing value with superb food and wine from just $99* per person.

Yes, we do have parking underneath our hotel, although please note that this is on availability. This is offered to delegates at $12.00 per car per day. You can either have delegates pay for this themselves or instruct that you would like all parking to be charged to your company.
You are not able to provide your own AV equipment as we do need all electrics to be tag and tested for OH&S reasons. We are able to supply you with all AV requirements so long as we know prior. Please note that some of these do come at an additional cost.
All of our proposal are tailored depending on what you require for your day. As we have 14 function spaces all of them have different capacities, which depends on your required set up. Once we can get all the information that you require for your conference we will provide you with your tailored quote.
We are able to accommodate most changes, although all minimum revenue costs will stay that same to what you have been contracted.
We offer all clients and their delegates free and unlimited WiFi for the duration of the conference. You will be advised of the WiFi password on the first day of your conference. Our WiFi speed is 50Mbps.
For $69.00 per person you will get all the below included for the day:
• Morning tea - chef selection
• Lunch - chef selection
• Afternoon tea - chef selection
• Pads, pens, sweets & water
• Data Projector and screen
• Whiteboard/flipchart
