If you’re starting to plan a function, you will notice that there are a lot of details that need to be organised. Wouldn’t it be great to have some of that stress taken off you, with the help of a professional who can tailor your event to match the style you want... & keep everything within your budget.

The Shamrock Hotel offers two function rooms suitable for all occasions, including conferences, awards & presentation nights, birthdays, engagement parties, weddings, Christmas parties, & many more. We offer seating from 20 to 140, & cocktail style set-up for up to 200 guests.

Each room has independent access, car parking facilities, private bars & are wheelchair friendly.

We can also help with arranging all the little things that are so important to making your special event a huge success. We are here to help & are happy to assist with organising cakes, music, decorations, photos & theming.

The Shamrock Hotel has Half-day and Full-day Delegate Packages, as well as, the option to create your own package with working and pre-order lunches. Our aim is to make your function as convenient as possible by catering to all your needs, including on-site parking and in-house accommodation.

We can provide an atmosphere for any occasion to suit any budget. Our function packages allow us to accommodate to any catering needs and to suit any dietary requirements, as well as, beverage packages for any celebration. Theming is also available to make your day as convenient as possible.
Yes! The Shamrock Hotel has Wedding Packages to suit any style or budget. We have our Gazebo or Terrace available for ceremonies, as well as, our Pavilion Room for cocktail hours and your reception. We pride ourselves on making your day at the Shamrock Hotel extra special with Australian Wedding Industry Award winning standard of service. We can also provide in-house accommodation, onsite parking and food and beverage options to make your big day as stress free as possible.

Mackay Choral Society held their end of year awards breakfast in the Pavilion Room at the Shamrock Hotel and could not have been happier with the venue, service and catering. We have already booked for 2024. Stephanie and her team made us feel so welcome.
