Bellota Wine Bar is situated in Melbourne. Bellota was opened in April 2013 by the three partners (Philip Rich, Michael McNamara and Alex Wilcox) behind South Melbourne’s iconic Prince Wine Store.

The bar brings to fruition a long-held desire to provide a venue that showcases the great wines of the world in a warm and friendly environment alongside beautifully executed and sympathetic food. Borrowing aspects from the European bar culture the space includes a sweeping bespoke bar, a large salumi/cheese cabinet and a traditional leather banquette. At the same time Bellota incorporates more typically Melbourne influences into the look including a huge street art “Loren-esque” mural watching on from the courtyard through into the bar.

The Bellota bar and Prince Wine Store, you have access to 3 private and diverse spaces in which to host your event.

Each private room has audio visual equipment provided and wireless internet free of charge. Each minimum spend set can be made up with any purchase of food and wine from both Bellota and the Prince Wine Store.

Niagara Room has Private dining room seats up to 12 people, with balcony overlooking Bellota courtyard. Projector available on request. Barolo Room is large private room seats up to 40 people in theatre format or 60 people standing, with balcony overlooking Bank Street. Fixed audio visual hardware with ceiling mounted projector, HDMI connection and wireless internet. Prince POD room has Private glass walled wine room seats up to 18 people. Projector available on request.
